Getting to know me
I am an intuitive Reiki Master/Teacher and Professional Channel. I hold certificates in BioEnergy and Spiritual Healing as well as Alternative and Complementary Medicine. I have also been practicing and receiving Reflexology most of my life.
I was blessed to have been raised in a family where metaphysics, natural healing, Reflexology and energy healing were normal and practiced regularly in our home. Conversations at our kitchen table revolved around Ernest Holmes - Science of Mind, Louise Hay - Heal Your Body, Abraham Hicks and many forms of energy healing, positive thought, so many interesting and wonderful metaphysical and spiritual subjects.
My Great-Auntie, Grandmother and Mother were all Reflexologists; growing up, when you had a stuffy nose or some other ailment, a foot went in someones lap - never a trip to the pharmacy unless it was absolutely necessary. In the late 60's my favorite aunt and uncle went to China and studied with the Masters, bringing home with them many wonderful teachings and lessons in Energy Healing that were shared within our family. I still consider my Aunt and Uncle two of my most loving teachers and I speak with them regularly discussing so many positive subjects. They continue to practice energy healing at the church they attend in Arizona.
In the late 1990's I was invited to attend the teachings for Vision Quest by a wonderful Native American Spiritual teacher. The year long studies were amazing and I learned much about myself, our relationship and responsibility to the earth and spirituality.
Moving to New Mexico, where my family has lived for many years, I met Betsy Morgan Coffman and began studies with her. Betsy is a wonderful and loving teacher. Through Betsy I became a professional Channel and a Reiki Master/Teacher.
I am so thankful for all the teachers I have been blessed with, learning to "master" myself so I am able assist others in what they might need to be on the path to mastering themselves. Intuitive Reiki allows me to combine all my personal life experiences and teachings into beautiful, healing energy that is needed by so many today.
I live and practice Reiki in Albuquerque, New Mexico; I am the mother of four grown children and grandmother of three boys. My children were raised with energy work and Reflexology and now I am so happy to be able to share the same energy life skills with my granchildren, so the traditions continue.
I am a Reiki volunteer at New Heart Rehab Center located at 601 Lomas Blvd.NE in Albuquerque. This program is helping so many people that are struggling with the effects of chemotherapy, radiation and other health issues. It is humbling to be a volunteer in this environment, the clients are amazing individuals and state that the benefits they are receiving are wonderful amd helping them. When I am not practicing Reiki you can find me in my garden where I grow organic herbs and flowers, to enjoy and share - when you have a session during growing season you will not only go home feeling better you will probably take home something from the garden as well!
